Job Summary
Lead the implementation and administration of the Forgen EHS Program, conducting project audits, developing Health and Safety plans, and supervising EHS Supervisors/Technicians on high-profile projects. Coordinate incident investigations, facilitate training, and communicate safety compliance policies to all employee levels. Perform air sampling, monitoring, and data logging while ensuring all Safety Observations and inspections are entered into EHS Insights. Manage PPE supplies, evaluate field operations for risk control, and serve as a liaison between project teams and client representatives. Drive an Incident and Injury Free culture by mentoring staff, developing training packages, and leading compliance assurance audits. Provide statistical performance data to leadership and assist in developing regional safety policies. Requires a Bachelor's degree in safety or engineering, BCSP designation, and five plus years of experience in civil or environmental construction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or advanced degree in a safety, engineering, construction or a related discipline
- BCSP designation (e.g., CSP, CHST, STS)
- A minimum of five plus years of experience managing safety programs in civil, environmental, or general construction companies or similar high-end safety program backgrounds, including oil refining and mining
- Valid Driver's License and ability to drive on behalf of company business
- 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training
- Competent Person Safety Training
- 8-Hour Supervisory Training
- OSHA 500 Certification
- First Aid and CPR
- MSHA related courses
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel

- Knowledge of project plans, contract requirements, and safety policies
- ability to perform under pressure and influence outcomes effectively
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Extended standing or walking on project sites
- Climbing in and out of equipment
- Working in confined spaces or at heights
- Proper PPE, including protective eyewear, gloves, a hard hat, and steel-toed boots
