Job Summary
Conduct daily field walks and tower climbs to proactively identify and manage site safety risks for a specialized energy project. Provide safety coaching to employees, contractors, site leadership, and visitors while facilitating EHS plans, emergency response protocols, and weekly safety discussions. Perform monthly, periodic, and annual audits; verify contractor risk assessments before work begins; and investigate incidents to drive corrective actions. Ensure site orientations, manage training programs, and maintain accurate EHS documentation. Track metrics, prepare for regulatory audits, and collaborate with external stakeholders to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of full-time EHS experience
- Data Center Experience
- OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 experience
- 29 CFR 1910.120 HAZWOPER 40-hour certification
- Current CPR and First Aid
- CSP, or equivalent nationally recognized certification (or eligibility)
- Availability to travel as necessary based in U.S.
