EHS Manager

Job Summary
Oversee the development and implementation of environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure plant compliance with federal regulations, ISO standards, and OSHA requirements. Develop manufacturing procedures for hazardous waste management, submit regulatory reports, and facilitate risk assessments to drive accident reduction initiatives. Manage workman's comp investigations and conduct necessary EHS monitoring and sampling while maintaining current knowledge of The Code of Federal Regulations. Act as the primary liaison with local communities, regulatory agencies, and outside organizations regarding EPA and OSHA issues. Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in a related field with five to seven years of EHS experience and the ability to work in a plant environment.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year Bachelor of Science degree in related field
- 5+ years experience in E, H & S
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience
Desired Qualifications
- Masters Degree
- 7+ years of experience in environment, health and safety
