Job Summary
EHS Manager responsible for on-site management of data center construction safety near Gary, IN, overseeing health, safety, and environmental compliance across data-center conversion projects. Lead safety programs, audits, risk assessments, and regulatory adherence; develop and maintain SOPs, EOPs, and MOPs; manage emergency preparedness, business continuity planning, and incident investigations. Serve as the on-site EHS authority, communicate safety metrics to leadership, and drive a proactive safety culture. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of EHS leadership in data center settings; prior on-site data center experience and familiarity with industry standards (OSHA, NEBOSH, CNESST) strongly preferred; willingness to relocate to Gary, IN. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Operations, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in a data center environment
- Previous experience working onsite at a Data Center supporting EHS for both facility operations / construction
- Experience managing site safety programs and regulatory compliance
- Military veterans with technical experience in electrical/mechanical systems encouraged to apply
- Relocate to Gary, IN or nearby community as this is an onsite role
- OSHA Certifications a plus
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory safety standards; familiarity with CNESST and NEBOSH standards a huge plus
