Job Summary
EHS Manager responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Management System for construction activities, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. Lead risk assessments and mitigation for high-risk activities (lifting operations, working at height, electrical works, energy isolation), plan and conduct internal EHS audits and site inspections, and drive corrective actions. Provide technical EHS leadership, deliver induction programs, toolbox talks, and training for employees and contractors, investigate incidents and near-misses with root-cause analysis, and coordinate with project teams, contractors, and external authorities to ensure alignment and effective EHS program implementation. Requires Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, minimum 6 years of EHS experience in construction/oil and gas/infrastructure, relevant certifications (EU-OSHA, NEBOSH, CESAT, IOSH), strong communication and leadership skills, ability to work on-site and travel, and fluency in English and Spanish.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant EHS experience in construction/oil and gas/infrastructure
- EHS related certifications (EU-OSHA, NEBOSH, CESAT, IOSH)
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work on-site and travel
- Experience in fast-growing international environments
- Fluent in English and Spanish
