Job Summary
Develop and maintain an integrated emergency preparedness program aligned with government compliance standards, training and outfitting the Emergency Response Team. Conduct effective workplace inspections to ensure facilities and equipment meet highest safety standards, while ensuring all safety rules remain current and correctly implemented. Manage the reporting and coordination of plant-wide accidents and incidents in accordance with PMD's Integrated Management System and Occupational Health and Safety standards. Train, drill, and evaluate all employees on safety policies and procedures, ensuring proper communication of incidents and corrective actions. Ensure full compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards across the organization. This role requires a bachelor's degree with eight years of safety experience, including four years in program development, and is based onsite in the Philippines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Sciences, Engineering or EHS discipline
- Master degree
- SO4 safety officer
- Eight (8) years safety and health work experience
- Four (4) years in a safety and health program development and implementation
- Experience as Safety Management Leader
- Experience in a manufacturing company located in the Philippines
- Must be capable of managing upwards and laterally throughout the business organization
- Experience with working with functional corporate partners
