Job Summary
Lead development and enforcement of EHS programs in a heavy manufacturing environment; conduct safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations; ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and related environmental regulations; manage hazardous waste disposal, air and water permits, and sustainability efforts; deliver safety training, promote safety awareness, and serve as the primary point of contact for EHS matters; maintain OSHA logs and regulatory reporting; develop and maintain emergency response plans and coordinate drills; interface with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits; require 5+ years of EHS experience, CSP/CIH preferred, strong leadership and communication skills, and US citizenship.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or similar credential preferred
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS management software
- US Citizenship at time of hire
