Job Summary
Lead EHS programs in a metal-mechanical and HVAC manufacturing environment, managing LOTO, PPE, machine safety, ergonomics, and hazardous materials. Ensure compliance with STPS, OSHA, air permits, wastewater, and hazardous waste regulations while driving incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to enforce action closure, deliver training to promote a strong safety culture, and track KPIs for plant leadership. Oversee on-site medical services and occupational health programs while partnering with plant and global teams on sustainability initiatives. Requires 8+ years of experience, a Bachelor's degree, and advanced English proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in EHS within manufacturing environments
- Proven leadership experience leading EHS functions or teams at plant level
- Hands-on leadership style with strong shop floor presence
- Experience in plant start-up, expansion, or implementing EHS programs from early stages
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, EHS, Environmental or related field
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance (STPS / OSHA / environmental)
- Experience working directly with Plant Manager and site leadership
- Advanced English required
