Job Summary
Design, develop, and oversee the organization's EHSS programs, procedures, and systems. Manage EHSS activities including performance tracking, safety audits, investigations, waste management, and stakeholder relationships. Direct management of worker's compensation claims and maintain EHSS metrics, record keeping, and communications. Manage EHSS vendors, expenses, and budget while representing the facility on the EHSS Council. Provide guidance and mentoring to team members as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Occupational Health & Safety/ EHS related field
- 3-5 years related EHS experience in a manufacturing facilty
- Knowledge and current understanding of all applicable regulations including federal, state and local laws and standards. (US EPA, SSHA, DOT, OSHA, etc.)
- Ability to interpret regulations to ensure compliance
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Excellent written & verbal communication
- Strong presentation skills
Desired Qualifications
- 1 -2 years leadership experience preferred
