EHS & Maintenance Executive

Job Summary
Conduct regular workplace inspections, safety audits, and housekeeping checks to ensure a safe and compliant working environment. Assist in monitoring site compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards while identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions. Support incident investigations, maintain EHS records and permits, and manage PPE issuance for employees and contractors. Coordinate training, toolbox briefings, and emergency drills, and assist in preventive maintenance planning for machinery and utilities. Lead special projects related to site improvement and sustainability programs under the EHS & Maintenance Manager. Maintain discipline and communication across departments while ensuring vendor compliance with security standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
- 2-3 years of working experience in operations and/or administrative support roles
- Strong administrative, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
- Good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Capable of working under pressure to strict deadlines whilst adhering to quality requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, and relationship-building skills
Desired Qualifications
- Industry experience is an advantage, particularly product knowledge in coatings for plastic substrates
