Job Summary
EHS Leader responsible for Hazardous Waste and Chemical Management with a focus on regulatory compliance (RCRA, EPCRA, TSCA) and waste reduction. Key duties include managing RCRA Hazardous Waste LQG requirements, training, labeling, storage and disposal to meet regulatory standards; overseeing site solid waste and recycling programs, waste minimization, segregation and sustainability efforts; preparing and submitting documentation and reports under RCRA, EPCRA, TSCA and other EPA regulations; managing personnel supporting hazardous waste, solid waste and recycling; coordinating regulatory training (RCRA, DOT, IATA); handling Hazardous Communications and chemical approvals; interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulations; collaborating with regulators and inspectors; managing projects and driving continuous improvement of environmental equipment and compliance processes; supporting Health and Safety initiatives; and performing other duties as assigned. The position requires a BS in a relevant field and at least 3 years of environmental experience with regulatory compliance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or other relevant field is required
- Minimum of 3+ years environmental experience including environmental compliance, industrial data collection and report preparation
