Job Summary
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities in an inclusive environment to enhance children's growth and promote social competence. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with customers, clients, co-workers, and management. Assess classroom and outdoor play area safety before engaging children, organize learning spaces according to Creative Curriculum and licensing regulations, and manage daily schedules of individualized activities. Accompany children to and from buses and playgrounds while maintaining head counts, address toileting and diapering needs, and feed infants on demand. Complete weekly health and safety checklists, maintain accurate educational and nutritional records with confidentiality, and adhere to GA licensure and NAEYC accreditation standards. Support parents as advocates through transition plans and community resource introductions.
Required Qualifications
- Childhood Development Associate (CDA) Credential with an Infant/Toddler endorsement
- TCC
- TCD
- Associate's or higher degree in Early Childhood Education
- Child Development
- Special Education
