Job Summary
Oversee EHS programs across Kendal facilities by communicating legislative implications to senior management and ensuring compliance with government standards. Establish training programs, enforce personal protective equipment usage, and develop departmental vision to build a robust safety culture. Coordinate ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems, create strategic operational goals, and lead corrective actions for effective issues resolution. Manage relationships with regulatory bodies, safety organizations, and trade associations while advising on new accident prevention techniques. Requires full driving license for site travel and experience with ISO standards. Supports SpinCo's digital infrastructure focus through Q1 2027.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant degree
- demonstrable experience in a similar role
- Thorough knowledge of ISO: 45001 and ISO: 14001 standards
- Experience working / communicating with sub-contractors
- Member of IOSH or NEBOSH
- Full driving licence
- Fantastic written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organise own workload and use initiative
- Efficient with thorough methods of working
- Ability to follow through on Corrective Actions and identify positive and negative acts
