Job Summary
Conduct course topic presentations including demonstrations with teaching aids for the Environmental, Health and Safety Program across national and online locations. Coordinate course activities with host agencies and manage travel arrangements with assigned support staff. Apply adult learning theories to maximize learner success while reporting to the EHS Training Manager. This Instructor I role supports TEEX's mission to safeguard communities and save lives through emergency response and infrastructure safety training.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five years of related experience in environmental, health and safety
- Two years in adult education and/or training
- background in training concepts and programs
- valid motor vehicle operator's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
- valid passport or ability to obtain within 180 days of employment
- Associate's Degree in applicable field from an accredited college or university
- Bachelor's Degree in applicable field from an accredited college or university
