Job Summary
EHS Infant Toddler Teacher responsible for organizing classroom space and equipment to meet individual needs, implementing Early Childhood Development practices, and guiding children through activities that promote exploration and problem solving. Responsibilities include creating and submitting lesson plans (including IEP/IFSP goals), conducting daily health checks, completing accident reports and experience sheets, using TEIS/LEA referrals and ChildPlus/Learning Genie for recordkeeping, conducting home visits and parent conferences, ensuring licensing compliance, and mentoring/ collaborating with staff. Requires Infant Toddler CDA credential; Associate degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred), with strong emphasis on data-driven planning, family engagement, and adherence to Head Start/CACFP requirements. Proficiency with internet/web technologies and ability to travel within the assigned area are also noted.
Required Qualifications
- Infant Toddler CDA credential (Required)
- Satisfactory physical examination prior to beginning work and every five years thereafter
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and current Automobile Liability Insurance.
- Satisfactory criminal background check prior to hire and every 5 years thereafter
