Job Summary
Deliver and coordinate home-based Early Head Start services to infants, toddlers, or pregnant mothers, implementing individual family home visits and group socializations per Head Start standards. Schedule 90-minute home visits with parents and children; support parental engagement; assist with recruitment, screenings, and registrations; coordinate family service referrals; conduct twice-monthly group socializations; promote Murray Head Start within the district and community. Responsibilities include implementing Head Start service components during visits, transporting families to community services when needed, developing weekly home visit/activity plans, facilitating parent meetings, coordinating resources, maintaining confidential records, and participating in ongoing professional development and collaboration with supervisors. Requires a home-based CDA credential or equivalent course work as part of an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Child Development, and the ability to lift up to 45 pounds and perform physical activities related to home visits.
