Job Summary

Implement and maintain field safety processes to prevent injuries at construction sites across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. Conduct job safety analyses, site inspections, and audits to identify hazards, rectify unsafe acts, and recommend corrective actions. Deliver OSHA compliance and new hire training while managing workers' compensation cases and supporting injured employees' return to work. Investigate accidents and near misses using root cause analysis to set and track safety goals that minimize liability. Collaborate with leadership and project teams to integrate safety monitoring into daily operations, ensuring strict adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. This remote-based role requires frequent travel and involves holding all employees accountable for a strong safety-first culture.

Required Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and navigate active plant and field environments as needed
  • Must be able to climb stairs, walk on uneven surfaces, and safely move through industrial work areas
  • May be exposed to moving equipment, machinery, and other standard industrial hazards
  • May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, as well as noise, dust, and vibration
  • Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required while in the plant and field

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in safety management, construction management, industrial Hygiene or related program preferred
  • Bi-lingual capabilities (Spanish-English) preferred
  • CHST (Construction Health & Safety Technician preferred
  • OSHA 10 and 30-hour certification in construction preferred
  • Knowledge of Fall Protection Systems, Rigging, Crane Operations preferred
  • First Aid, CPR, and AED Certified preferred
