Job Summary
Develop and maintain EHS policies, conduct routine safety inspections, and investigate incidents to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Perform ergonomic assessments of workstations and tasks, recommend improvements to reduce injury risk, and track injury trends. Coordinate safety training programs for employees and leadership, monitor key performance indicators, and prepare reports with actionable insights for continuous improvement. Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and HR teams to integrate safety considerations into daily workflows and facility designs. Support sustainability initiatives and emergency preparedness programs while promoting a strong safety culture across all shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Ergonomics, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred
- 2–5 years of experience in safety, ergonomics, or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ergonomic principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS management systems
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to influence and engage employees at all levels
- Demonstrated decision making and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, presentation skills, along with verbal and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to develop working relationships with all functional areas of the company
- Ability to support multiple shifts as needed based on business needs
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
