Job Summary
EHS Engineer responsible for assisting clients with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs and assessments; tasks include air emissions inventories and permit applications, SPCC plans, SWPPP development, hazardous waste management, EPCRA TRI and Tier II reporting, industrial wastewater reports, on-site inspections, OSHA policy development and compliance monitoring, and project management across multiple assignments; requires a four-year degree in environmental/occupational health and safety-related field, 2 years of relevant experience, and travel 2-3 days per month/week as needed; location Spartanburg, SC, US; on-site work with no sponsorship requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited four-year degree in environmental engineering, occupational health and safety, or related scientific or technical field
- Minimum of 2 years of industrial and/or consulting experience, with emphasis on environmental and safety programs and procedures
- Experience with on-site industrial manufacturing operations, chemical manufacturing operations, and/or mining operations
- Working knowledge of RCRA, CWA, CAA, EPCRA, and OSHA regulations preferred
- Engineering in Training (EIT) preferred
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills; experience with technical writing
