Job Summary
EHS Coordinator role in Arla Foods Stourton (Leeds area) within QEHS team. Responsible for monitoring compliance to Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, driving Safety agenda, developing the Safety culture, and supporting CapEx project activity. Leads in Behavioural Safety Programme, develops Safety Champions to ensure accountability across the site, reporting to the Senior QEHS Manager alongside another team member. Requires Environmental, Health and Safety background in manufacturing/FMCG, with NEBOSH certificate essential and IEMA certificate preferable; lead auditor experience preferable. Strong leadership, teamwork, attention to detail and IT skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- NEBOSH certificate (or equivalent) essential
- IEMA certificate (or equivalent) preferable
- Lead auditor preferable
- Strong Leadership and Team work skills
- Experience of Environmental ISO 14001 standard preferable
- Strong attention to detail and IT skills are essential
