Job Summary
Develop and monitor safety programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while proactively preventing workplace accidents. Enforce company safety policies across manufacturing and construction teams, manage accident investigations, and coordinate drug and alcohol testing. Schedule safety training for all employees and arrange external OSHA, DOT, and EPA training with vendors. Maintain records for safety activities, inventory safety supplies, and organize the annual safety fair. Assist with workers' compensation claims and manage incident reporting systems.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Five (5) years of related experience
- Previous experience with workers' compensation claim filing and reporting
- OSHA 10 and 30, CPR and First Aid certification
- Previous experience with EHS Insights or other safety and incident reporting software
- Must possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Desired Qualifications
- CPR/ First Aid Certification preferred
- Previous experience with workers' compensation claim filing and reporting experience is preferred
- OSHA 10 and 30, CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Previous experience with EHS Insights or other safety and incident reporting software preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred
