Job Summary
EHS coordinator responsible for coordinating, implementing, improving and verifying programs that support environmental, health and safety systems. Manage programs across areas such as accidents, emergency response, hazardous communications, radiation safety, industrial trucks, PPE, air and water pollution, hazardous waste, and other EPA/OSHA-regulated domains; develop and maintain regulatory-compliant programs, document work instructions and procedures, maintain records, analyze data to determine effectiveness, prepare reports to corporate/regulatory bodies, and inspect/audit for compliance. Serve as a subject-matter resource, interact with internal/external customers including government inspections, integrate activities into EHS management systems, develop solutions to environmental or safety concerns, and provide training and support for unassigned EHS programs while adhering to company safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma
- three years experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Sciences or related field preferred
