Job Summary
EHS Coordinator at H.B. Fuller supports environmental, health, and safety programs in a chemical manufacturing facility, ensures regulatory and corporate standards compliance, partners with site leadership and production teams to identify risks, implement corrective actions, and promote a culture of safety. The role requires regular presence on the plant floor and involvement in daily operations across multiple shifts. Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining site-level EHS programs, conducting incident and near-miss investigations, performing hazard assessments, managing hazardous waste handling and regulatory compliance, supporting air, water, and spill prevention programs, delivering EHS training for employees and contractors, tracking EHS metrics and leading indicators, and participating in emergency response planning and safety committees. Proficiency in relevant regulations, strong communication and training skills, and the ability to work on-site are needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental, Health & Safety or related field
- 2+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or chemical environment
- Experience with OSHA, EPA, DOT Hazmat, and hazardous waste regulations
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of EPCRA reporting and ISO 14001 standards
- Experience with process safety, MOC, or high-hazard operations
- Proficiency in EHS data tracking systems and Microsoft Office tools
- On-site experience in chemical manufacturing environments
- Strong training and instructional skills
