Job Summary
EHS Coordinator at Fuji Vegetable Oil responsible for supporting the environmental, health, and safety program with regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and safety operations. Key duties include implementing safety and health programs, evaluating subcontractor EHS performance, conducting safety inspections, coordinating emergency action plans and fire drills, managing the fire alarm system, maintaining regulatory documentation, performing hazard identification and risk management, overseeing LOTO procedures, conducting safety training (including OSHA-related outreach and certifications), incident investigation and reporting, and collaborating with production leaders to mitigate hazards. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in general industry EHS, knowledge of NFPA Life Safety 101, and certifications such as AED/CPR/First Aid, with proficiency in MS Office tools.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 3 years of experience in EHS roles in general industry manufacturing operations
- Experience or training in Hazard Communication, Confined Space and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO)
- Experience with fire protection systems including fire alarm management and troubleshooting
- AED, CPR, and First Aid certifications
- Knowledge of NFPA Life Safety 101
- Hands-on training experience for forklift operation, MEWP, and backhoe operations
- Computer proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Teams)
