Job Summary
Hands-on EHS Coordinator for a heavy industrial manufacturing facility. Provides daily site-level support for safety programs, training (including forklift certification), inspections, incident response, and documentation. Performs safety inspections, reports findings, maintains training records and logs, serves as Safety Committee scribe, and escorts vendors/contractors on-site. Requires ability to work on the plant floor in a safety-priority environment and strong communication and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred
- Minimum 1 year safety experience in industrial or manufacturing environment required
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Forklift training or certification
- Experience maintaining training records and safety files
