Job Summary
The EHS Bilingual Training Technician provides administrative and operational support for Environmental Health and Safety training and orientation programs. Responsibilities include scheduling and coordinating orientation/training sessions, maintaining training databases and records, preparing training materials and certifications, assisting with onboarding, and serving as a bilingual English/Spanish resource for employees, contractors, and visitors. The role also involves translating training-related documents, generating progress reports, managing documentation, coordinating with project personnel, maintaining training materials inventory, supporting EHS Trainers with classroom setup, and acting as a primary contact for internal and external stakeholders while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. Strong organizational, communication, and confidentiality skills are required, along with the ability to work independently or in a team and to use standard software/tools.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) required
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
- 1-2 years of related experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to perform duties associated with the position
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage confidential information appropriately
- Proficiency with applicable software, systems, and tools
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
