Job Summary
EHS Assistant (Housekeeping) is responsible for thorough 10-step cleaning of hospital areas including patient rooms, nursing stations, lobbies, restrooms, and public areas; duties include bed moves, cleaning IV poles/pumps, stocking supplies, responding to emergencies, and maintaining excellent communication with patients, families, visitors, and staff. Requires the ability to perform the 10-step cleaning process, attention to detail, English literacy, adherence to compliance standards, and alignment with mission/values. Schedule is full-time nights (11pm–7:30am) at Frederick Health, Frederick, MD, on-site.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- One to two years’ experience in housekeeping or service work, preferably in a Healthcare Facility
