Job Summary
Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of HSE programs while ensuring compliance with legal, corporate, and ISO14001/ISO45001 requirements. Assess workplace environments to identify hazards and initiate programs minimizing risks related to chemical, physical, and ergonomic factors. Conduct inspections, provide guidance, and enforce adherence to regulations by documenting records, conducting risk and COSHH assessments, and managing employee training. Investigate incidents and near misses to implement corrective measures, monitor environmental impacts, and collaborate with the corporate EH&S Team and site leaders to enhance safety culture. Cover both sites in Lincoln within a manufacturing environment focused on industrial growth markets.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of directly related experience, preferably gained in a manufacturing environment
- Advanced knowledge of EH&S regulations, management systems, regulatory agencies, trends and resources
- Proven ability to conduct risk and COSHH assessments, audits, and incident investigation
- Experience of using MS Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint; preparing analytical results and charts/graphs
- Working knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety Management Systems (EMS/HSMS)
