Job Summary
Coordinate statutory requirements and maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems to manage health, safety, and environment risks at the Kendal manufacturing facility. Conduct safety tours, audits, and incident investigations to identify root causes and remedial actions while communicating EHS policies and metrics across technical, engineering, and facilities teams. Publish Risk Management Statements and actively monitor site operations to ensure compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and support SpinCo's digital infrastructure growth. Report to the EHS Lead and liaise with clients and subcontractors to uphold our culture of prevention.
Required Qualifications
- NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
- Relevant work experience in an EHS role within a Manufacturing, Construction or Engineering role
- Extensive knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974
- Extensive knowledge of ISO 45001:2018
- Extensive knowledge of ISO 14001:2015
- Knowledge of relevant Standards and other relevant legislation
- Ability to use initiative and work with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to liaise with all levels within organization
- Proven track record of developing relationships
