Job Summary
Provide role-based system access and training to new hires and transferring staff. Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive training materials and an up-to-date EHR training manual. Facilitate system configuration updates for new services, departments, and hardware, while managing EHR-related change control and communicating outages to leadership. Attend vendor trainings and partner with IT staff and OCHIN to troubleshoot technical issues. Respond to internal Help Desk tickets through to complete resolution and contribute to departmental decision-making as a subject matter expert. This role sits at the intersection of clinical operations, IT, finance, and reporting, collaborating with Health and Wellness leadership and external vendors. The position requires a Bachelor's degree or relevant experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of HIPAA standards. Salary ranges from $47,000 to $56,700.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher (relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
- Prior training experience — you are comfortable teaching adults in a clinical setting
- Demonstrated electronic health record experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security information system standards
- Familiarity with IT change control processes
- Understanding of physical or mental health services and operations
- Strong organizational skills — able to analyze, plan, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to travel between sites during the workday
Desired Qualifications
- OCHIN Epic experience or related EHR certification
- Health Information Management background
- Experience with clinical documentation integrity or workflow optimization
