Job Summary
Provide role-based system access and training to new hires and transferring staff, ensuring they use the EHR confidently from day one. Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive training materials, plans, and an up-to-date EHR training manual while coordinating role-specific sessions for new functionality and upgrades. Facilitate system configuration updates for new services and departments, manage EHR-related change control, and communicate outages to leadership and staff. Respond to internal Help Desk tickets through to complete resolution and partner with IT and vendors to troubleshoot technical issues. Help develop documentation templates, evaluate EHR options, and contribute actively to departmental decision-making as an EHR subject matter expert. This role operates across multiple sites with occasional travel and may require flexibility for meetings outside standard hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Prior training experience — you are comfortable teaching adults in a clinical setting
- Demonstrated electronic health record experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security information system standards
- Familiarity with IT change control processes
- Understanding of physical or mental health services and operations
- Strong organizational skills — able to analyze, plan, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to travel between sites during the workday
Desired Qualifications
- OCHIN Epic experience or related EHR certification
- Health Information Management background
- Experience with clinical documentation integrity or workflow optimization
