Job Summary
Provide direct support to clinical operations and patient care teams to facilitate the introduction, acceptance, integration, and optimal use of the Epic application in the clinic. Troubleshoot application issues as they occur, own the problem until full resolution, and refer complex matters to the IT Help Desk. Coach users, coordinate training for new staff, and provide competency training for existing users while attending clinic meetings as an Epic expert. Work with advisory workgroups to optimize system use through new feature implementations and ensure all EHR changes are communicated clearly to end users. Assist with administrative functions and coordinate special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of or experience with a practice management system
- Ability to communicate via telephone, video, and/or in-person
- Vision adequate to read documents, computer screens, forms
- Ability to lift, carry, or otherwise move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to use keyboard and view computer screens for extended periods
- Ability to travel locally and long-distance as needed
- Ability to move around offices and clinics as needed
