EHR Epic Patient Access Analyst

Job Summary
The EHR Epic Patient Access Analyst will lead the development and support of an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, coordinating IT team members and collaborating with the organization to optimize workflow processes. Key responsibilities include resolving complex technical issues, performing software maintenance tasks, and leading testing and validation for system changes. A significant aspect of this role is participating in strategic planning for EHR systems, enhancing functionality and usability of EHR systems, and managing implementation projects. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and related experience, specifically in IT or healthcare, along with a certification in Epic Applications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 or more years of applicable IT or healthcare experience
- 2 or more years of experience working with Epic Cadence, Prelude, OR Referral
- Excellent analytical, organization, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within teams
- Ability to solve the most complex problems and understand customer needs
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in 1 or more Epic Applications
- Expert understanding of healthcare business process and technology
- Expert understanding of healthcare workflows and terminology
- Possesses cross-application integration knowledge
- Strong desktop tool usage including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Project management skills
