Job Summary
Join Jefferson Health as a Certified Surgical Technician responsible for preparing the operating room, assisting in patient positioning, and anticipating surgeon's instrument needs during procedures. This position requires either 2+ years of inpatient surgical technician experience or completion of a surgical tech training program for those with less experience. Candidates must have a high school diploma, BLS certification, and OR Technician certification, along with at least one year of scrub experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Completion of OR Technician training
- BLS and OR Technician certification required
- One (1) year of scrub experience
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of inpatient surgical technician experience or less than 2 years with a completed surgical tech training program and current certification
- Ability to commit to FT schedule and on call requirements
- Meets certification or 'grandfathered' requirements per the state
- BLS and OR Technician certification
Additional Requirements
- Agreement term is 18 months for bonus eligibility
