Job Summary
Design and organize age-appropriate educational materials and activities for four children following a tailored home-schooling curriculum. Deliver lessons in various subjects with explanations and demonstrations, while sourcing and curating supplies for arts, crafts, and messy play. Encourage independent play, social interaction, and basic life skills like tidying and making beds, alongside identifying tutors for specialized topics. Assist in planning events, managing routines, and keeping the mother updated on progress through informal assessments. Source local classes for sports and ensure learning continues during family travel. Maintain records of progress per home-schooling regulations and promote a healthy, active lifestyle.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of child psychology
- The candidate should be vocal and able to help with problem solving, and a great communicator
- US/UK/EU passport/ Green Card/ EAC
- Must have previous experience of working in Dubai
- Must be CPR/first aid certified
- Must be passport and travel ready
Desired Qualifications
- The family love outdoor adventures-weather permitting, so the candidate should enjoy most outdoor activities, and nature
- Health and fitness are important to our family, the candidate should also encourage and promote this lifestyle and be a great role model to the children
- The candidate should be creative and artistic - a love for art and photography would be a plus
- A driver isn't essential but would be a plus
- Mom would prefer the candidate to have knowledge of the US curriculum but is open to British curriculum
