Job Summary
Develop and administer occupational health, safety, and industrial hygiene programs across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida-based remote install crews. Maintain site-specific environmental permits, manage hazardous waste streams, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Identify hazards, conduct Job Hazard Analyses, and lead the Safety Committee to drive preventive actions and reduce incident costs. Serve as the primary interface for regulatory agencies like OSHA and EPA, investigating injuries, managing Workers' Compensation, and delivering EHS training to new employees.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Safety/Environmental/Safety Science/Engineering or related area preferred
- Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred
- Minimum of 3+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Broad working knowledge of regional and local EHS compliance and regulatory requirements as they relate to the manufacturing and facility operations
- Travel required, up to 25%
