Job Summary
EH&S Site Manager leads day-to-day safety leadership on a major power plant project in Lincoln, Nebraska. Enforces safety policies, mentors a team of field safety professionals, conducts daily site audits and hazard assessments, leads incident and near-miss investigations with root-cause analysis, maintains safety documentation and regulatory logs, collaborates with project leadership, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies, supports planning and execution of high-risk activities including electrical work and critical lifts, and promotes a proactive safety culture through coaching and training. The role requires strong construction safety expertise with a focus on electrical systems and mission-critical environments, and periodic travel to project sites.
Required Qualifications
- CHST certification or a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in construction safety
- If CHST is not held, it must be obtained within the first 12 months
- Experience in electrical safety and data center construction (strongly preferred)
- Deep knowledge of OSHA standards, risk mitigation, and industrial safety best practices
- Demonstrated leadership ability with strong communication and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety management software
- Ability to travel periodically as needed
