Job Summary
Assist the Safety Director and Safety Coordinator on projects including automating manual inspections, managing confined space and HazCom inventories, and conducting facility ladder inspections. Perform LOTO validation tracking, manage Management of Change and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews, process workplace observations, and participate in incident investigations. Support monthly safety training and presentations, while contributing to safety database maintenance on SharePoint and DocuKlaud. Complete internship after-action reviews with Vybond Corporate EHS and perform additional responsibilities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Enrolled in an accredited Baccalaureate or Master's degree program
- G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Problem-solving skills
- Assertiveness
- Strong initiative
- Team-oriented thinking
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning
- Minimum completion of sophomore status
- Good standing
- Some knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other government regulations
- Ability to read and write
- Excellent attendance
