Job Summary
Teaches adult education classes in accordance with course lesson plans, syllabi, and outcomes across main campus downtown, online, and/or offsite locations; utilizes student-centered methodologies and multiple teaching styles to meet program and student goals; develops and revises unit and daily lesson plans; creates formative and summative assessments to measure progress toward identified outcomes; informs students of and upholds school policies; tracks attendance, grades, and reports; tracks grant-related data and contributes to annual organizational goals; participates in professional development, meetings, and committees to support student success.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience minimum
- Must meet the CTE credentialing requirements of the Colorado Community College System Office, including 4,000 documented paid hours of industry experience within the last 7 years (or 5 if in healthcare) in the program field, or 2,000 documented paid hours of industry experience and a Bachelor's degree with appropriate industry licensure, certificates, or technical training
- Minimum of two years of formal instructional experience to adults in a variety of settings
- Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
