Job Summary
Teaches automotive collision repair courses to adults and postsecondary education option students aged 17 and older, developing lesson plans and assessments, maintaining compliance with program approval, managing program materials and supplies, and participating in faculty and professional meetings. Requires a Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience, adherence to CTE credentialing requirements, and significant industry experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet the CTE credentialing requirements of the Colorado Community College System Office.
- Four (4) thousand documented paid hours of industry experience within the last 7 years (or 5 if in healthcare) in the program field.
- Appropriate industry licensure, certificates, or technical training.
- Two (2) thousand documented paid hours of industry experience and a Bachelor's degree if holding appropriate certifications.
Desired Qualifications
- Broad knowledge of techniques and practices used in the related industry or subject area.
