Job Summary
Operations Associate supports daily business functions across customer service, shipping and receiving, purchasing, and accounting support activities. Serves as a liaison between customers, vendors, carriers, and internal production teams to ensure accurate order processing, timely communication, inventory management, and operational efficiency. The role requires organization, proactivity, attention to detail, and comfort with managing administrative and operational tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include handling customer contacts and purchase orders, conveying order status and shipping updates, coordinating with production and suppliers, processing invoices and financial transactions, maintaining records, and supporting cost control and vendor performance tracking. Safety policies must be followed, with duties performed in a safe manner.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Two or more years of experience in customer service, purchasing, logistics, accounting support, inventory management, or manufacturing administration preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Experience with ERP, MRP, accounting, or inventory management systems preferred
- Basic math and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
