Job Summary
Lead the maintenance function for EFP's Bishopville location, ensuring all plant equipment, facilities, and grounds operate safely and at peak efficiency. Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs, team leadership, budget oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives while managing CMMS utilization and accuracy. Partner closely with Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams to support operational excellence, capital projects, and compliance with OSHA and NFPA 70E standards. Develop and manage the maintenance budget, track key performance indicators, and coordinate contractors and vendors to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Occasional travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Technical degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance
- Bachelor's degree
- Five to eight years plus of progressive maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of high-voltage three-phase electrical systems, low-voltage and control circuits, and electromechanical equipment
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, steam, and automated manufacturing systems
- Experience with CMMS platforms and preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Proven project management and vendor coordination experience
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and a demonstrated commitment to safety
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and participate in on-call rotation as required by plant operations
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
