Job Summary
Provide chairside support for doctors by charting, placing fillings, setting up and cleaning operatories, and educating patients. Perform expanded functions including placing amalgam or composite fillings, adapting temporary crowns, removing sutures, and applying topical fluoride. Maintain accurate patient health history and treatment plan documentation in dental software while staying up-to-date on state regulations and compliance. Schedule includes Monday through Thursday from 7:45am to 6pm, with every other Friday from 7:45am to 3pm. CPR certification is required, and EFDA certification or on-the-job training is needed. Required Qualifications
- EFDA certification or on-the-job training as required by state regulations
- Radiography licensure meeting state requirements
- CPR Certification
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Proficiency in dental charting software
- Proficiency in digital x-rays
- Ability to learn new systems as needed
- Stay up-to-date on state regulations and compliance to deliver safe and effective care
