Assist doctors with charting, placement of fillings, operatory set-up, and patient education while performing expanded duties such as placing amalgam or composite fillings, adapting temporary crowns, removing surgical sutures, and applying topical fluoride treatments. Record and review patient health history, make chart entries, and update treatment plans under the doctor's direction. Maintain compliance with state regulations for expanded functions and radiography licensure. Requires EFDA certification, CPR certification, and 1-5 years of experience.
