EEO (Prevailing Wage) Compliance Specialist

Job Summary
Monitor, coordinate, and report on Equal Employment Opportunity, prevailing wage, and certified payroll requirements across Federal, State, and Local levels. Own the accurate and timely filing of EEO-1, AAP, Vets 4212, and Equal Pay Certificates while collaborating with Legal to review project contracts for compliance components. Establish documentation for new construction initiatives, including Rider H-1 and WMBE vendor outreach, and communicate project-specific standards to subcontractors. Oversee certified payroll systems, review workforce utilization data, and compile reports on DBE spend and TERO metrics. Partner with Project Accountants, unions, and government agencies to resolve compliance issues and lead internal supplier diversity outreach programs.
Required Qualifications
- An Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience
- A minimum of two years of EEO compliance experience
- Demonstrated strong computer proficiency (MS Office 365– Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to use time productively
- Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Ability to possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write correspondence as needed
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to read and comprehend routine financial statements
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of four years of experience in accounting, compliance, administration, or another related field
- Experience in the construction industry
- Knowledge of LCP Tracker, B2GNow, SmartCOMP, Elations and other reporting systems
