Job Summary
Agency Attorney Level III in the FDNY Equal Employment Opportunity Office conducts investigations of complex EEO violations, interviews complainants, respondents, and witnesses, prepares written summaries and closing memos, researches EEO law, conducts compliance inspections, handles intake interviews and detailed intake reports, and provides EEO training for FDNY employees and counselors. Requires NYS Bar admission and progression to Assignment Level II/III with experience in areas related to assignment; the role supports a diverse, public-safety-focused environment with a strong emphasis on investigations, legal research, training, and statistics development.
Required Qualifications
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- Member of the New York State Bar in good standing for duration of employment
