Job Summary
EEI Communications Intern – assist in pre and post production of video and audio content in studio and field, support planning and production timelines, distribute scripts/call-sheets to talent and crew, monitor studio equipment and set, ensure refreshments for production events, coordinate production notes and asset catalogs, perform basic clerical tasks, and travel as needed. Must be a current student in Communications with a valid passport for international travel, demonstrate creativity in multimedia production, desire to learn operating and maintaining video/audio/editing gear, and ability to handle multiple production projects with strong communication and organizational skills. Willingness to travel when applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a current student with an interest in Communications
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid Passport for international travel
- Original creativity for use in multimedia production
- Desire to learn skills in visualizing and filming creative concepts effectively
- Desire to learn proficiency in operating and maintaining a variety of video, audio, and editing equipment and software
- Desire to learn and use new technologies and best practices
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
- Ability to manage multiple production projects with excellence, bringing them in on-time
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to excellence and high standards with acute attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams
- Willingness to travel when applicable
