Job Summary
Remotely monitor EEG, EMU, LTM, and sEEG studies in real-time while performing routine procedures across neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations. Unhook patients at study conclusion and accurately recognize abnormal EEG patterns. Document patient seizure semiology with precision, operate and troubleshoot equipment including Cadwell and Nihon Kohden systems, and maintain professional communication with patients and medical staff. Work independently with minimal supervision in a secure, HIPAA-compliant workspace using a reliable internet connection. This role requires 12-hour shifts and ABRET board certification. Required Qualifications
- High School diploma (GED) or higher
- A minimum of 1-year experience in the field
- Must be ABRET board-certified R.EEGT
- Working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology as it relates to EEG
- Must have a secure HIPAA compliant workspace that is free from unauthorized viewing
- Must have a reliable internet connection and backup
- Must be able to work 12-hour shifts
- Must be able to operate, store, and maintain EEG equipment as necessary
- Must maintain an appropriate supply inventory sufficient to conduct multiple EEG setups if necessary
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to move and lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to stand, kneel, and stoop as needed
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time
- Must be able to type at least 45 words per minute for the purposes of data entry
- Must maintain current AHA CPR certification
