Job Summary
EEG Technician responsible for performing neurodiagnostic studies under the direction of the neurologist in accordance with ASEТ guidelines. Takes a lead role in training and educating EEG students affiliated with Providence Health and Services Alaska while collaborating with the program manager and medical director. Works within Providence Physician Service Organization to support patient-focused, whole-person care and uphold best-in-class benefits and professional development opportunities. The role emphasizes training/education of students, adherence to clinical guidelines, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Neurodiagnostic Program
- National Certification from American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- 3 years - In the performance of procedures in a patient care environment
