Job Summary
Perform EEGs, ambulatory EEGs, and multiple sleep latency EEGs by recording electrical brain activity to study epilepsy, convulsive disorders, and localize cerebral lesions. Conduct clerical duties and participate in performance improvement and continuous quality (CQI) activities. Requires a high school diploma, current BCLS certificate, and two years of EEG technician experience preferred. This per diem role at St. Mary's Hospital - Kankakee offers competitive compensation ranging from $27.25 to $27.25.

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of educational program for EEG technicians preferred
- 2 yrs experience as an EEG technician preferred
- Associate Degree in Electroneurodiagnostic technology from a school accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs preferred
- Certification from the American Board of Registered Electroencephalographic Technologies (ABRET) preferred
